Outstanding Health Management
Magdeburg University Medical Center achieved outstanding results at this year’s Corporate Health Award. Particularly encouraging: the areas of Workplace Health Management (BGM) and Workplace Inclusion Management (BEM) were rated in the Excellence Category.
With a benchmark score of 77 percent, Magdeburg University Medical Center is well above the average for the health and social services sector, which stands at 71 percent. This result confirms the high quality and effectiveness of our programs and structures designed to promote the health, satisfaction, and productivity of our employees.
The Corporate Health Award is considered the most prestigious award for excellent occupational health management in Germany. The underlying quality standard enables employers of all industries and sizes to conduct a thorough analysis and assessment of their health management systems. Together with stakeholders from business, science, and politics, the award provides important impetus for the sustainable promotion of employee health and raises awareness of its social and economic significance.
This outstanding result is the outcome of the continuous commitment of many stakeholders who work daily to ensure healthy working conditions, prevention, and the successful reintegration of employees.
