Referral to the special neuromuscular outpatient clinic
We examine patients with acquired and hereditary muscle diseases in the special neuromuscular outpatient clinic with an attached electrophysiology laboratory (EMG laboratory). Based on the neuromuscular findings and the preliminary findings you provide, we will make a treatment proposal for you and your patients.
We kindly ask you, especially in the case of complex neuromuscular issues that may require an interdisciplinary discussion with our specialist colleagues from neighboring disciplines such as orthopedics, neurosurgery, pediatrics, and pulmonology, to provide us with the following information:
- previous medical reports,
- Data CD with images,
- current laboratory values,
- current medication plan.
We will return all the documents you have brought with you to your patient at the end of the examination. A referral from a registered specialist in neurology is a prerequisite for presentation at the specialist outpatient clinic.
